Hi guys!
We received our medical instructions on March 2015 but due to my wife's pregnancy, we sent a request letter to our visa office to extend our medical exam and have it all together after childbirth. No confirmation received from visa office regarding the request of extension of medical. I being the principal applicant did not take the medical examination until we receive the medical instruction for our newborn. We received e-mail last July 2015 from visa office requesting for the child documents (birth certificate & passport copy). We have submitted all the requirements and by Sept. 2015 we have already received the medical instruction for our daughter. Me & my wife took the medical exam on Sept. 27, 2015 in UAE, while our daughter had her exam the following day, Sept. 28, 2015 in the Philippines. A week after we took the medical exam, application status changed from "IN PROCESS" to "DECISION MADE" on October 5, 2015.
I was wondering on the quick change of application status since it was only after a week that we have taken the Medical Examination.
Is this good or bad?
1st thought - Is it ok that I have postponed my medical examination until childbirth? Could this be a ground for rejection of application? Though after we sent the request letter for medical exam extension, emails/correspondence were received from visa office regarding my application. Requesting for child docs and issuance of Medical Instruction for child.
2nd thought - Is it possible to get the decision in 1 week time after medical? According to our physician, all results are good and were sent on Sept. 29, 2015 via system upload. Our daughter's medical results were sent on Sept. 28 via courier.
Kindly share your thoughts. Thanks in advance
