Please advice what to do

Good post i must say.. anyways can someone comment on the time frame to get PPR after successfully completing the medicals... thanks.. ;)

I received a rejection on my application yesterday night. How can I contact the consulate in regard of refunding my RPRF? I could not find a phone number or email address on the London Consulate website. Thanks.

Hi,

How was it possible to send you a rejection letter directly without giving you an opportunity to submit the response of fairness letter? Did you not receive fairness letter if there is a problem with your medical condition?

Aoa, we had our medical 1 day ago. As my husband is diabetic, we told thm,. Bp was normal, urine glucose was not found. N they referred him for hba1c n creatinine serum tests wth additional charges
The whole process lasted for 2.5hours.
They told us they will contact us in 2 days if further tests r needed else we must assume that our medicals has been dispatched....
Every phone call startle us. Today is gonna be that 2nd day.........
Im so fed up of all this struggle. CIC Must clearly warn all diabetic not to apply for FSw....I fearof becoming diabetic myself due to stress
I recvd PCc n RPrf on 5th january., given 45 days to submitt....
I need suggestion , should i wait till my ECas 3rd line is updated,n then submit rprf, bcoz God Forbid, if my medicals r reason for rejection, then claiming rprf would be impossible.

Plz diabetic forumites, suggest me out.............

Hi All
I am new to this forum , I need urgent help from all of you .. I received MR request VO and I went with my family to complete all the tests.
My Problem is my son who is 8 years old is low vision child and has got limited vision , that too is very less. Doctor examined him and referred him to eye specialist. He prepared his report and report was submitted .
Few days later I received a furtherance letter from CIC asking to contact the doctor again for "few more tests" Now that tests were not related to eyes/vision but for cognitive and development delays , which I would say the problem is nowhere near to him
He was referred to concerned specialist and the remarks were , That there is no such problem with this child . He is absolutely fine in terms of his growth and skills..
This last test was done on 22nd Dec 2014. I am now waiting for further updates by CIC..(3rd Line update)

Can anybody let me know what would be the next steps ?
How long will it take for next stage ?
Will it cause any major issues , like permanent refusal/Fairness letter etc .. ?

Please guide me as I am running out of thoughts and I need support/help from you all .

Thanks

Dear All,

Previously, I was suffering by TB but fortunately it was not in my chest. its almost 10 years ago and cured at that.

I checked several times with the specialist. Alhamdulillah, it is completely cured.

Is there anything to be tensed?

Should I have to inform them while doing Medical?

Please suggest should I have to do anything before medical?

Rumel, you MUST inform your panel physician about your previous TB disease because they found out during Chest X-ray, you may land in problems.
Please read the instructions at the following link given to the Panel Physicians by CIC about people having TB ( active or inactive).
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_Tuberculosis.pdf

And btw, don't be tensed about it.

Thanks bro,

Actually, I have done precheck by an specialist. He told me that there is no TB.

In fact, TB was not found in my chest when I was suffering.

I will do the check again.

If I inform them about it then, is there any possibility for rejection or delay in processing?

I am afraid about it and thats why I want to hide.

Hi,

I would like to request for clarification -

I am under weight comparing to my height. And I am skinny too.

I don't have any other medical issues.

Will under weight be issue in my medical?

Expect your comments

:) :) :)

Nope. It is not a ground for rejection. They determine your medical admissibility on three things:

1) Detect communicable disease
2)Detect unusual behavior that may pose to public threat &
3) Health condition that is expected to cause excessive demand on their system

My two year baby undergone with one operation immediate after his birth. He had hydrocephalus and now he is okay. Can it be a ground of rejection... My baby had shunting from head to stomach.

If there is no active TB at present then it would not be cause for refusal of your application. However, it might take a couple of months more for CIC to be sure that there was no active TB indications & they might request furtherance tests after 2 or 3 months.

Applicants who are under weight would be tested for HIV screening, if the BMI score is <16.00. It might be as it could an indicator of potential health risks.
However, HIV screening would be done anyway.
