Medical examination costs

I'm waiting to get my medical request and I'm just wondering about how much this check will cost me. I know each doctor is different, but it would be good to have a guideline. Anyone want to share their experienceI?

Ranging between $150-300 depending on if you have provincial health coverage. If you are outside Canada, it could be cheaper.

Immigration medical exam is not covered under provincial health care. The charges are quite high and you have to pay from your pocket. Xray and general physician exam is $150 and blood work is $250. So $400 is your medical exam fees (in alberta)

We paid 320$ for each adult last year in Winnipeg.
It’s expensive but you can claim it as medical expense on your tax refund and get some % back.

Did you try to claim? I tried but it did no difference.

Yes I did, it did make difference in our case because we had more medical expenses than that
