Medical Exam Validity Extension - Let's share our timelines!

Got request to re-do medicals on Jan 30th. VO requested med extension from Ottawa-HMB on the same day the emailed me for the re-do. Per March GCMS notes, VO has no results of my re-do AND no indication of approval of the extension by HMB.

what is the date of GCMS notes? i noticed that GCMS notes are usually a copy of the case at the time when you requested them, not when you received them... so they usually are about a month old... so if you received them in March and x-ray re-do was done in February then it might be reasonalbe that the results are not in the notes yet...

i waited for the months and then e-mail to Ottawa asking if my medicals were extended... so it might be that medicals were extended faster and i just did not know about it..

my parents did medicals 4 times... and i ordered GCMS notes several times... so from my experience it takes London 1-4 weeks to process medicals...

hello everyone.
on my interview i was told that they would request for my medical extension (as my medicals expired a week ago), my gcms says i passed medical exam. so what do you think will they simply give extension or can send request for re do ?

Here's my timeline for Medicals and situation:

Completed and sent medicals to Ottawa for me and wife on May 5, 2012,

CoPR & Immigration Visas issued Nov 15, 2012

New baby born Dec 15, 2012

Request sent to cancel Visas issued and also sent documents to add baby to our application = Jan 25, 2013

VO sends Medical forms for baby on Mar 25, 2013 and cancels our previous Visa and returns passport

VO also informs that since our medicals are going to expire by the time baby’s medical is approved, therefore they requested extension of validity of our medicals and the extension was granted  as all other procedures had already been completed. Therefore no new medicals required for us parents and now only waiting for baby’s medicals to be approved and then all set to send passports for Visa and CoPR.

Anyone know long Ottawa takes to approve Medicals for new-born baby and then send the approval to VO?
