I applied on 31/08/2023 but IRCC tracker showing the following under background verification its says "we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" result may i know at what stage my application is it ?

Medical exam: Not started

• You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Eligibility: Not started

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.

Background verification: In progress

• We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Kindly need to know is it IP1 stage or IP2 stage ?

Stage 1 now. You will be there in stage 2, once eligibility starts.

Some people are saying it's IP2 stager after IP1 is it correct?

Processing system is varying. Sometimes eligibility check first then background check and sometimes background first then after eligibility check. Your file falling under case 2.

I read from the internet that various steps occur till final decision i am so confused, usually eligibility start first after background verification, if background check starts its IP2 sometime eligibility done but does not show . can you explain what's falling under case 2 is it a good sign or bad for getting PPR?
