Medical exam in Canada

Since I moved to Ontario not too long, I'm not eligible to apply for the health card. So when I go to find a panel physician, will there be a difference? if I don't have the Ontario health card for now, do I have to pay for the fees of the medical exam? is it gonna really expensive in Canada?

you have to pay for your exams. I just paid 280 plus blood test and urine test.

I don't think any health card would pay for this anyway. You will have to pay for it yourself.

The medical is never covered by provincial healthcare.
