Hello All, I am currently on post graduate work permit in Canada and I applied for my wife's spousal work permit which was approved 3-4 months ago but she has not yet landed in Canada due to the covid-19 situation.

However, I am in the process of applying for PR through express entry for myself and my wife and I have received the ITA today.

Please answer the below:

(1) Do I need to take up medical test since I am living in Canada for the last 3.5 years

(2) Does my wife need to get another medical test done since she already got it a few months ago. If the answer is no, how do I state that in my application? and how long is her medical test results valid for?

1. Yes. Even if you live in Canada for 1 year you need to do the Medical exams.

2. Yes. Medical exams for temporary resident is valid for 10 years but everytime you apply for PR, you need to do the Medical exams.
