If you are a student now, check with your school insurance.
If you are a worker who is working under PGWP and having a full-time job, you are qualified to get OHIP if you are living in Ontario. OHIP covers everything except drugs, vision and dental care. Your surgeries, your treatments, your check-up/follow-up appointments with cancer specialists are covered. If you don't have OHIP, it costs you a lot of money for cancer treatment here.

When you apply for PR, you will be required to do a medical exam that will ask your medical history in 5 years. Cancer is included in and it's up to the IRCC's officers who might made decision on your application - approval or refusal.

Hii..
I had thyroid cancer surgery on 29th June 2019 and I am planning to take admission for jan20 intake for study.
I am also advised for post surgery periodic check like CT scan.
Can you please tell me is it covered in public insurance or we have to pay additional. If not in insurance then how much cost I have to bear.
2. Is it (cancer treatment) create problem to get my study visa exam and later on for immigration.

Please guide me and suggest me about this condition...

Thanks & regards
