Hello! Can anyone confirm if a Chest Ultrasonography and/or Chest MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) are acceptable alternatives (non-radiation approach) to a Chest X-Ray for pregnant applicant as part of the CIC immigration Medical exam? This is so not to delay the processing period.

Thank you, though I'm surprised with this response, since MRI produces superior imaging (hence costs more) than old-school X-Ray imaging.

Ultrasound, MRI and xray are not the same. Each has its own specialty and chest xray is not replaceable with any of these 2.
