Hello Everyone,
Thank you very much for you help. We recently done our medical and got ok response from the DMP. my question is what is the next step?
we were asked to do medical, send new background declaration form, canadian immigration form, police report and visa fee.
Do you think they have performed our background check? if not how long do you think we still need to wait ?
we normally lived in two country in uk and nepal during the 10 years period and once i was in congo for few month?
our visa office is London.
many thanks.

Normally, the next step would be to request your passport (or copies of your passport if you are visa exempt and the officer exercises her discretion to use copies) and to issue you a COPR (and TRV counterfoil if you aren't visa exempt). That can take several additional months.

Good luck!

Depends upon case to case..
since you have travel history
it may take time on BC ...
If VO asks for PPR and RFPF then BC/SC is over....

You said you had just done your medical. Assuming you have completed your medical, your RPRF, your PCC, and whatever else they requested, they would normally move to finalize your application.

Each visa office follows the same basic procedure.

They might send you a letter telling you that if they don't hear from you they will close out your application.

if you dont have any problem with youe medical.your security check shuouldnt be more than five month.if everything goes as plan but if their is a problem your application might take up to eight month.you better send your pcc and rpf immediatelly.
