I experienced the same today. Have yours changed back to pass or have you contacted CIC know the reason for this.

Remember your medical is only valid for a year (you have to land before it expires or get a new one).

Are any of these close to the year deadline?

No.. I am inland applicant and the medical was done in July, 2016. so it is still recent

I did my medical in my home country in venezuela the 25 january 2016 for my work permit.

I'm inland applicant.

review of medical still in review in progress.

i send a CSE, I'm waiting for the answer.

what about you?

Nothing to worry,if it will be changed to review in progress from passed.at the last stage. It will be changed to passed again in 10-12 days for inlander. but for outlander they will ask to redo.

thanks for the reply. is this second background check?

can i expect for a good news soon..

Another reason for inladers can be that you did your medical for the purpose of work permit, i.e temporary visa. From reading old posts some time ago, this was debatable, some said you can use the same medical for pr application, some said you cant. Anyways I do not think its something to worry about, I am sure if there is something then IRCC will notify you. Good luck
