I have recieved my medical papers. I want to know-
1. I am based in a middle east country, now I am going to India and can get my medicals done thru one of CIC panel doctors there, but in case CIC wants any further tests can the same be done thru another panel doctor based in middle east.
2.Is the medical after background check?

Thanks in advance.

1. You can, but it is not advisable as if you are "medically furthered" you are supposed to return to the same DMP. Note if you have the medicals in India, ensure that they are sent to the correct office and not New Delhi.
2. Usually.

Medical exam contains: blood test for (HIV, Syphilis, STD, Hepatitis A,B), urine, blood pressure check up, eye-sight, chest x-ray for (tuberculosis), doctors also examine your abdomen and chest. They also ask about any meds you take on regular basis, any surgery you had or on-going complications.

Gulan, I hope this answers your question as well

Good luck to you both

Thanks Big Boy,

I hope MPV will not be a problem in my case, am I right, and can process further

In first trimester, babies organs are still forming. Undergoing Xray at this stage can cause birth defects. The effects are not widely studied so I would strongly advise against Xray. Rest, you can ask CIC by emailing them and letting them know of your situation. Australia immigration dept advises not to undergo XRay and wait till delivery. May be CIC might have also same criteria.

Thanks for the advise, if we will ask for extension it means this only applicable for my wife or all of us will be delayed including my other dependent?
