Hours basically dictate the type of job (Full time/Part time). If "Full time" is mentioned that will do as well. But to be in safe side its better to mention the hours. Do you have your offer letter or contract letter where the no of hours is mentioned? If you have it, you can also include that one as a supplementary documentation along with your reference letter (in worst case). Even if your paystub has got the info you can use it for reference and write it nicely in your LOE. Try to convey the message politely that your employer did not mentioned the hours but you have other proof which will ensure that you worked as a Full timer (As per cic's definition of Full time employee)

CIC Says,

Document requirements

The personalized document checklist in MyCIC prompts the applicant with an upload field for each work experience declared.
At the completeness check, the processing office determines only whether the required documents are included. The validity or fraudulence of the information is assessed only if and when the application is placed into processing.
The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).
If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

If HR refuses to give you a letter, then ask your manager/supervisor/colleague to issue you a letter on white paper (it should cover all the requisite points), along with a copy of his visiting card and company ID card and get the letter notarized. Submit it along with a Letter of Explanation (LOE).

LOE should cover the following points.
- State the reason why you cannot get a reference letter from employer, if you have any evidence to support you statement, please mention it and also attach it along with the letter.
- In absence of the letter, mention what proactive steps you have taken to prove your work experience.
- Mention the list of documents which you are submitting, in the absence of the reference letter.
- Request the Case Officer to consider your case in light of your situation and also in terms of the proactive steps taken by you to submit best alternative documentary evidence.

Hi all,

Have query related to salary:

Do we need to submit salary slips of all designation or is it ok if we submit latest salary slip of only current designation as I am missing some of old salary slips.

Thanks!

Hi,
you don't need to submit any salary slips (not mandatory documents).
