I hope someone can help me and give their opinion!

Im applying from outside of Canada and Im not quiet sure how to provide the details on what status I had while I lived in Canada, during the two years and six months I lived there I've been both a worker (two different work visas) and also been a visitor while I waited between the two work visas, I have also visited one time before and after I actually lived there. I have always had a legal status in the country.

Im just not sure which of the options to use for answering the question since I've had different statuses.
I put "Other" and then "Worker and Visitor" and the obviously the dates. I was planning on also adding an extra sheet of paper to explain why I answerd the question that way and also provide the exact details with dates I have been in Canada.

Does anyone know if it would be ok to answer this question this way?

Thanks so much!

I think your plan on answering the questions that way is fine especially by including exact details on an attached separate sheet. Something else to consider do you still have the old work visa and visitor visa stamps? You could get them scanned and printed and include them as well. Not really needed but nice to have that little extra documentation.

Thank you for your answer! Very appriciated!
Unfortunatly I still only have one of the two work visas... the border officer took one of them when I switched from beeing a worker to beeing a visitor. But I still have the other one and my stamps in my old passport. I was hesitating on sending the visa though since I only have one of them. Do you think that will make them question it?

Do not send the original old visa, Just a scanned copy would be sufficient, As would scans of your old stamps.

Chris

Oh no I wasen't planning on sending the original visa, but I just wasen't sure if should even send a copy since I only have one of the two... I dont want it to cause something for CIC to question.

You could also just list them as separate entires. For example:

Canada - Worker - Jan 1st, 2013 - Dec 31st 2013
Canada - Visitor - Jan 1st, 2014 - Feb 1st, 2014
Canada - Worker - Feb 2nd, 2014 - Nov 1st, 2014

I wouldn't bother sending copies of your permits or stamps. CIC will be able to easily access that information in their system
