I called CIC today to check the status of my application, was told that it takes around 2 years to process an application. I told her that on forum there are people who are getting their citizenship with in 6 months and the CIC agent said that is possible too. lol

Almost, almost April applicants' turn, then its your turn. expect it to happen in 2-3 months!!!!!!!!!!!!
tho i always talk about patience but it could run out quickly, ahaha

Any May applicant has not received AOR yet other than me.

I haven't rec'd my AOR yet. App rec'd May 8 and it started processing July 10th.

Hi

I have received aor and the booklet. Meanwhile I changed my address from Toronto to London. As soon as my address got updated on ECAS my received line disappeared. Now I don't know in which city my local office will be.

Me. I called cic a few times and they said the letter has been mailed on Aug 11 but I haven't received it yet. Also my ecas still shows no update!!! Weird!

You will probably get it by Sept. 11th. Mine took about a month to arrive.

I hope so. Thanks and good luck to you too

Unfortunately, it hard to know with the new change in processing(i.e. from 3-step to 1-step, with officer making decision) and without many people receiving test notices.

Hey All :D

So the received line just disappeared for me today, I did receive the AOR and Booklet on August the 25th. If the spreadsheet is a good projection of potential test times/dates I am thinking most May applicants should have their exams sometime in November 8) TGIF all!

Oh and a stupid question guys, I noticed that some people have a LOT (local office transfer) day on the spreadsheet, how did they find that out? By calling CIC or is there another method? Thank you all :)

Hi brbr
Guess what ! They say that when your received line disappears , yr file is transferred to local office
