My book and AOR were sent July 11th, I got them last week (about 1 month later) and it was after I already got notice(from local office) to write the test. So may be yours will arrive by end of this month.

=============

I have both Received and In Process statuses as of today and I have not received the discover canada book until now. anyone received it?

Hi Everyone,

I just joined this website today.

Here is my update:

Received application May 22, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on May 22, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Started processing application on July 22, 2014.

I have not received the booklet. Can anyone please tell me what "AOR" and "eCAS" stand for? I know it's a silly question but I've been following this thread before I decided to join and have been seeing those terms numerous times not knowing what they mean. Thanks!

Same here .. Nothing yet received or changed ... May 6th application ... Inprocess July 11
So don't worry all May applicants r still waiting
Gdluck

The AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt and ECAS - Electronic Check application Status.

here's the link if you want to check your status online.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp

Use your application number or Client ID.

Hi asagalen,

Thanks for letting me know what those acronyms mean. I'm aware of the process required to check my status online :)

I still haven't figured out how to respond to people directly like how asagalen responded to me.. Newbie indeed lol

I'm at 84-day mark today. Still no ECAS, called CIC - no record in their system...
Tomorrow I will be the longest waiter in our entire list! :D

AOR and booklet received on 08-21. I've updated the spreadsheet.

Cheers!

It's fine btw correction ECAS = Electronic Client Application status not "check " ;D

AOR rec'd today

When you guys received your AOR and booklet in the mail, did any lines disappear from your ECAS? I haven't received my booklet yet.

Haven't rec'd anything in the mail yet application started processing July 11th, but the rec'd line disappeared on ECAS and only says in process.

Some people think that's when your application goes to your local office.

The rec'd line is still there as of this morning.

I will certainly report when it disappears. :)

I called CIC today and I am in queue for oath ceremony. They will let me know at least 2 weeks before ceremony. :) The agent said he has never seen a citizenship application processed that quick.

Have any other May applicants received their test notices yet? Hope things go faster for everyone, so we all have some good news.
