May 2025 Supervisa Application

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice regarding my parents applications.

Both applications were submitted together on 15 May with the same documents. One parent’s visa was approved on 6 November and received PPR request, but the other parent’s application is still “in progress” with no updates at all.

It has now been 189 days, which is longer than the average processing time listed on the IRCC website. We are getting worried because they are planning to travel together and this delay is causing uncertainty. Has anyone experienced only one parent’s TRV being approved while the other gets stuck for months?

What steps can we take?

– Should we raise a webform request?
– Contact local MP?
– Wait longer?

Any suggestions or similar experiences would be really helpful. Thank you!

Possibly! Please raise a webform and reach out to your MP as well, raise this as urgent saying you need help with baby on the way

I got both in progress on 21st November. Waiting for the decision. Applied on 30th Aug, bio and medical completed

Eligibility & background in process from a long time.
Biometrics submitted from a previous rejected visit visa application.
No upfront medicals.
Submitted Webform. got generic response as processing.
