Citizen here. Travelled for 2-3 weeks with spouse ( PA - inland ) to US

and I think short vacations are Ok. Read it somewhere( can't rem where )

@matician7413 Which VO did you receive the portal 1 email? I called IRCC and they told me that VO Montreal have sent the portal 1 email on the 20th of October but haven't received any.

My VO was Mississauga, got the email for Etobicoke VO.

Same with me, my application was processed at CPC Mississauga but for the portal confirmaiton it was assigned / transferred to VO Montreal. I called IRCC again on Friday and was advised to wait as VO Montreal is a bit busy with case load. I should be able to receive it in a week and was advised to call again if there are no portal email received.

CSC - Called IRCC: 25 October 2023 - Followed up on portal 1 email. Agent informed me that Montreal IRCC will finalize my PR and have sent an email on 20 October 2023 which I didn't receive. Agent sent a request to Montreal IRCC to resend the portal 1 email.
CSC - Called IRCC: 27 October 2023 - Followed up again on portal 1 email. Agent send a test email to confirm if I am receiving emails from cic.gc.ca - which I did received while on call with the agent. Agent advised to be patient as Montreal IRCC is a bit busy at the moment.
