Hello, thanks for your concern.
I emailed the Local Visa Office and they replied the letter can still be used. I sent the correspondence to VFS and was invited for the Bio-metrics.

I think we have the same timeline.
IRCC received my application on 13th May 2021.
Biometric request on June 29
SA approval and file transfer during the first of July.
ADR 7th September
