How to find which office the application is being processed?

Check the email address you have received the test invitation from, the middle part of the address will have three letters that will represent the office processing you application.

MTL - Montreal, SCR - Scarborough etc.

So we have been waiting one year for a none complex citizenship application for an elderly and today we received an MP response giving us some details, unfortunately none of the details given was something new to us or something we didnt know . the MP office could not escalate to montreal office because the application is “within normal processing time of 27 months “ which is ridiculous ! it was 12 months and when we reached that 12th month, it became 27 ! why did it take 12 months in first place anyway ? no feedback since september 2021 !

applicants felt its beneficial that they work together to put a forum so they can benefit from each other experiences however if the IRCC process was fair, reasonable and effective, these forums wont be there for sure !

they are just good at blaming everything on pandemic as if like canada is the only country which got affected by a pandemic !

anyone went through a Writ of Mandamus before ? i guess this is the last resort to oblige these people to get files out of the drawers ! dust them off and work on them fairly !

Does it makes a different to sent email to SCR office about upcoming PR card expiry in order to schedule Oath on soon basis ?

It is been 2.5 months since passed test but no oath yet.

It is been 2.5 months since passed test but no oath yet.

For me, it took 3 months after test. For my friend, it took almost 5 months.
For citizenship, expiring PR card is not a reason for making expedite request. But, please feel free to try.
