May, 2018 thread for Outland Permanent Residence Applications in Havana

Hello guys. I'm opening this thread for all of you who are in the same process than me and want to share your timeline.
My timeline on Ecas is:

Permanent Residence

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 22, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 3, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on August 3, 2018.
4. We sent you correspondence on June 26, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

• And I sent them the requested document on Webform and my Ecas is still saying this. Is this normal? Another thing is that I have not received any medical email request since they started processing my application in the VO in Havana and yesterday Applicants from Sept 9 got their medical email request. I'm very frustrated.

IRCC has started processing your application.....processing is on a case basis.....sometimes medical is sent within 5 months.....your medical will some....relax.....patience.

I have heard that if you e-mail the Havana embassy, you might get medical instructions within 1-2 days.. I know someone who did this a couple of weeks ago, and she was sent the medical request the next morning.. good luck!
