3. After how many days they responded? i requested on 16th Aug 18, and got reply on 6th Sept 18. Around 20 days they took.

No, not necessary. You can get PPR from Ottawa office itself. When Ottawa is not able to complete background checks from their end, they transfer it to NDVO to continue the process.

In the notes part everything looks to be fine as of now.

My current status is IP1

AOR - 19th May 2018
MEP - Passed on 4th June
IP1 - Background check is not yet started.


Any over here from May 2018 AOR got PPR or Changed status for background check ?

I have created a group only for May AOR on whats app, if anyone would like to join the group do let me know. It is strictly for April end to May 2018 AOR only.

Hey Guys, can anyone give me some idea about where i am at?
Im doing EE CEC. I submitted all the stuff on July 4th, and got ADR on July 25th, i uploaded additional doc right away. The first time i check my application status was yesterday Sep 6th.
It shows:
1.We r reviewing ur eligibility
2. U passed medical exam
3.we r reviewing the additional doc u provided
4. no interview needed
5. no figureprint needed
6. we r reviewing ur background

which stage im in right now? Pls help me out, thx!!

From several many threads, I have come to believe that the 6 months time period starts once a file is opened at the IPO, this is around the time when the MEP is set as Passed in the profile and the status shows as "In Process" for the first time (IP1). AOR is just an automated response upon application submission.

I may be wrong, but I am sure champions will correct me in that case & I shall be happy to expect my PPR sooner.

Anyone please share the CIC call center number that I can use within Canada?
