Its the default status of all app...it would only mean that they are working on it when it says : "We are processing"

Hi Guys,
I am a newly immigrated PR and I had a job for two months. Now I am going to my home country for marriage. If I have to sponsor my wife do I have to find a job or can I sponsor her immediately after returning without having a job.

Here is my eventful timeline!
Applied in January. Application returned.
Reapplied March. Application incomplete again, returned.
Reapplied May, received on the 8th.
Medical & PCC sent with application. (1 PCC expired the day after being received, it was fortunately never requested for again)
June 5 Correspondence sent but never received. Sent Schedule A via web form. Never received until August 23rd by mail.
Medical Passed: June 5th
AOR1: June 6th
SA: June 12th
File transfer to CPC Mississauga
Oct 27: Background check GC Key in Progress (ecas status Application received)
Nov 27: IP line on Ecas
Nov 30: DM on ecas (Gc key still says in progress) & Passport request email

Also applied for a TRV twice during process. Both times were approved.

Hi! For those who already sent their passport, is it usually within two weeks? It's just we need to inform my husband's workplace about the resignation a week before he is planning to leave. Is it advisable to inform them a week after submitting his passport? My plan is as soon as he receive his passport back (as long as there's no prob at all), I will book him for his flight right away. But I'm not sure if it is really within two weeks usually.
