Ummm....what's the text confirmation people are talking about? I never got one after sending my application and have yet to hear anything from CPC.

No problemo! Once the file is opened and you get your first communication from them things start to move

hey guys I also submitted my application April 16 and it came back May 12
and I resubmitted May 15 and it arrived May 16 and I got a text.

But I used my old forms and not the new ones, and am worried it will come back, especially since im sponsoring from Dubai so it would be difficult to get the forms signed.

The following forms were updated recently:

• Sponsorship Evaluation and Relationship Questionnaire (IMM 5532) April 2017
• Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 513.30 KB) March 2017

I think they might be forgiving with the IMM 5532 form since it was updated in April but if you haven't used the updated IMM 0008 form there is a possibility that it could be sent back.

There is no point in worrying about it now, all you can do is wait and see. If by June 10th you haven't received your AOR, I would suggest begin filling up the new forms.

I hope they accept your package.

From last couple of post, I calculated that one can get AOR 1 in 23 to 30 days.

We just received AOR today and it took 27 days for us.

Not yet. They received our app last April 28 and got the rext message May 1st.

We mailed it Feb 28 and it was received Mar 1. First communication was on Mar 14

Cool, March onwards lots has been happening with delays and late AORs.

You are early to expect SA. It took a month for us (submitted Mar 1). Just gotta sit tight
