The eCas seems to be a very bad way of determining what is going on ..

I have SA , I have the SA email confirming SA and eCas still says in process for me.

I have SA in ECAS but still haven't received a letter or email.

I definitely think ECAS is often wonky.

Has anyone ordered case notes and received them?

My application was received by CP/M on May 19; my wife got DM1 on July 20. My application has been transferred to CPC-Ottawa then.

But I (main applicant) still have not received AoR2 yet and my CIC status is still

Permanent Residence

We received XXXXXXXX's application for permanent residence on May 19, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Is that normal for your guys? I hope my AoR2 arrives very soon and hopefully I can see my status becomes "In Process".

Ottawa doesn't send an AOR2. So unfortunately it's just a waiting game for it to go to "In Process".

If the eCas is showing In process for my husbands application right after I got SA , then how
will I know when it is really in process?
It was only just sent to Ottawa.......
Is there a line that will be added like it said for SA that we began processing your application on xxxx date?

Also if there is no AOR2 from Ottawa, how will my husband know his Client Id Number?
I was told my client id will be different from what his will be.....

Im not expecting a fast processing for us though... I know that there are extra checks they will have to make
due to his military service and deployments in the middle east. Im guessing I will be on the high side of their
processing times.

Still so happy to have SA though . LOL ;D

Wife just told me her ECAS changed to add a new line showing date that processing started at her VO. Also with other people in her QQ group. Interesting. Check your ECAS to see if any change to yours too.

I really hope that means that CIC is really processing the apps for those who in their status appear a third line. Mine still with the same (app received and med received) probably it will change in the next days, even when I'm not that optimistic. Speed process for all!!!

I have a third line too now! It says they started processing it on Aug 6, which is the same date as on the SA letter (although DM for SA appeared on July 27 or so).

Just checked today and got a new line. Line 2. Says they started processing my husbands application Aug 4. We filed May 29 and got SA DM on July 28 I believe. My hubby's application showed IP on Aug 6 on ecas though...

I'm personally considering this to be AOR2 .

Under the IP description it says

Since Ottawa does not usually send letters for AOR2 , this seems to be the most logical conclusion.
They have received my husbands PR application on Aug 20th and will review it in order of receipt.

The Ecas has been quite unreliable as far as I can tell

In fact. My husband has his PR application In Process
and they have yet to update my Sponsorship Application to DM .. it still says In Process.. and I have the email for approval.

It's a weird system, but hopefully you will see something moving soon.

My application was received one week earlier than yours (May 19, 2015) and has been trasferred to CPC-Ottawa on July 20 after SA(DM1), but I still have not seen any updates on Stage 2 on eCAS... sigh...

Mine is also the same! added one more line yesterday said started processing. It was IP for 9days and now it is actually showing processing. I believe the process is getting closer to the end! let's be positive
