You will be able to put info under your name in the profile section but only after you have made 10 posts on the site. The profile area will change to allow you do put in the info. But you can start by putting in your info on the May 2015 spreadsheet and the 2015 Outland spreadsheet. See the links below in my signature.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I will do just that.

Hello all
Yeah.. This is happening with almost everyone now
My file also is showing in Process right after SA
... could be a new trend

Do you think that means that we're still in for the long haul?

I'm thinking maybe... If it's happening to a lot of people on the same day, than chances are it's just a new thing they've started doing. Although I don't understand why it wouldn't just stay at "application received" if it wasn't actually moving forward..... Who knows.. I'm still expecting it to take months though...

So... I guess we're "in process" even though we haven't received AOR 2.

Anyone have advice on when to send a missing document? We still need to send in our FBI report but haven't received AOR 2.
Confused.

I guess the in process thing is a new thing they're doing since it seems like that's happening to many people.
I put the date that it changed to that into the spreadsheet hope thats ok...

My application is still waiting for SA.

I'm wondering when I can send in a document to add to my husbands application for PR.

Its a DD214 Military Document from his service. We did not include it but think
they'll need to have it.. and want to send it in. But since I still have not gotten SA, I am not
sure if I need to wait or just to send it in?

Any suggestions?

Suggest wait until AOR2. The AOR2 email should say what else you need to send and where. This is the opportunity to add this document and any other evidence as well as what they may specifically request. My wife's Hong Kong QQ group have talked about that kind of thing as recent AOR2 seem to all now have to send in a new IMM008 form and different size of photos and something else but Hong Kong could be different from other visa offices.

Unfortunately, smoothsailing looks like they'll be sent to Ottawa, and according to everyone on here, Ottawa does not send an AOR email or letter...so they may be waiting forever, haha. Just a heads up.

I would call CIC and hope for a verbal confirmation of SA at the least, and then inquire about the military document and where to send it (and what information to provide with it). You may get lucky and speak with a helpful agent.

I will call them and ask them about that. Thanks for the suggestions :)

This thread is intended for those who have had applications received by CIC in May 2015. Yours was November 2014. Your other posts are all in a Philippines thread which seems the best thread for you. But my quick answer is the Manila visa office has expected processing of 17 months after your SA in February so that would take it to July 2016by the time 80% of the applications have been completed in handling in Manila. 5 months is way too soon to be freaking out and sending them lots of emails.

I think your wrong i freaked out wrote tons of emails to my mp and minister responsible for immigration.. I am a lawyer I know how to write deadly letters and no less then 5 days later we received the request for her passport. This process is horrible so i urge you all to bitch whine and complain.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease..

May applicants after SA what is the status on ecas Permanent Residence Application??? Application received OR In process???

Perhaps you can write some deadly letters for me since I'm still without SA and well into 74 days. ;D

It depends per VO. For mnila VO, in process after PPR in MOST cases. Ask some people at the London VO thread or you can look at the spreadsheets to see the trend at LVO.

My file transferred to London on 29 July and on ecas permanent resident application status changed to IN PROCESS within a week.
