Nope! Because when enough of us have the old form that close to when they updated it, it gives us a bit of strength in numbers.

Plus I feel better knowing I'm not alone, too.

Can I ask how you know that the CIC lost your first application? I see it on your side information. Just want to know if I need to double check, too!

How long does it take for CIC to add your application to the online database or acknowledge receipt of application ?
My application was delivered by Purolator on Last Week.

I called the call center and it wasn't showing after 3 months I got the mp involved and they still couldn't find it so the mp told me too 're submit a New one because they can't find it there.. even after it was signed for ! my new application was redone and sent and received May 13 I sent it fed ex I'm not sure if purolater send it too the wrong address or missisauga lost it.. they should of expidite my new one but you know how that goes.. still waiting again starting from square 1 again

Praying fervently my apps won't be return because I submitted the February 2015 generic form. I've noticed it today before I send my application via UPS. It's so hard to send that generic form again to the Philippines just to sign the updated form and send it back here in Canada.
Is there any instances or is there any member here that their apps has been returned because the generic form is not updated?

hi everyone. i will be filling my application next week. i am PR in Canada and my wife is in India. i was planing to file the application and leave for India and than come back once shes issues Visa (along with her)
please help me with few questions.-
-when can i go back to India after filling the application ? is their any minimum time which i have to spend in Canada after filling application ? can they reject my file because am not present in Canada after SA ? can i leave for India after SA ?
am really worried about this.

My application was delivered by Purolator on Last Week.

Average of 30 days for the AOR (acknowledgement of receipt) then close to another 30days for SA. As of the moment it says a total of 58 days (average) to complete stage 1 (sponsorship approval). But i've seen a lot of april applicants who've had their aor in less than 30 days, So keep your hopes up. CIC's working very hard for early 2015 applications. kudos to them! And Just keep on checking the spreadsheets to give you a statistical idea of the processing times. Wishing everyone a speedy process!
