Decision made its come to mail or email address and how many days it take when you see in process how long after they ask for passport . Did you get passport request through email or mail

The moment you get the paperwork, you can do the landing process!

Passport Request Oct. 14; ECAS DM Oct. 28; COPR & Visa received Oct. 29. All finished!!

We won't be moving until March or April but the earlier the decision the better as we have to sell our property here.

Hi all!

In less than a week we'll be approaching two months from the date we received 1st stage AOR (September 8th). ECAS still lists our status as "Application received". Once we hit the two month mark, do you think it would be worthwhile to reach out to CIC and see if there has been any (further) holdup?

Also, we got engaged at the beginning of October. Is there any sort of procedure we need to follow to inform CIC? Does this change our relationship status with regards to application purposes?

After asking that question yesterday we just received an update from CIC.

My common-law partner, the applicant, received an email asking for additional documentation. I'm so furious I could cry. The following have been requested:

1. A signed copy of IMM 5409 (which we were told initially that we do not need).
2. A scan of my partner's passport's bio-data page (which we already included! both sides!).
3. Current mailing address (which hasn't changed! WHAT?!)

Considering CIC's massive eff-up of our application back in July, this news is a huge blow. I'm concerned with how much further behind this is going to set us. I could cry.

Anyone else been in this position?
