can i ask as to how this quota thing works? is this good for us applicants? kasi dapat s spousal walang quota di ba?

Hi manille, i dont have any idea how it works. How much their limit is and if spousal visa shares the same guidlines as the other family class visa. That's the only thing that the congressman told my husband -- we were both okay and happy with what he said. We cant do anything anyway. I'll ask my husband to ask cong should he get Another opportunity to talk to him

My medical is already expired, since I apply for my wife last year. Would they ask for a new one?

and How do we get the passport request? Are they going to email me( sponsor )? or email my wife in the phils? Or is it a mail? Thanks in advance

More than likely you will have to re-med.
If e-mails were provided, Yes your wife will get PPR via e-mail.
If no e-mail provided will send snail mail.

Applicant is only one who will receive e-mail.Just get wife's e-mail log in, I check my wife's all the time.
Once at that stage of process, should go to " in process"

3 months after i got ppr still no update on my status.

Wala pa rin ba visa mo sis? Ako rin. 2 months na nasa CEM ang passport ng asawa ko. I hope they'll start sorting this out for us.

I was lead to believe was only the applicant that received PPR.
Thanks, good to know both receive. I was worried we might miss request.

it looks like the april and may applicants are experiencing backlogs.. hoping that it will speed up sooner., but as for the wives and husbands that are waiting to come to Canada. don't rush.. its really really cold.

best time is to come march, april
