Hello to everyone. Ishare ko lang ang nangyari sa amin ng hubby ko:

So we received DM nung March 27, 2014 so I was already anticipating the Visa & COPR around 1st wk ng April.

Hubby received them today April 10, 2014. We found 2 problems on both Visa & COPR.

First, the VISA is only valid until APRIL 12, 2014. I mean he only has 2 days to complete everything & then fly here?! That's too rushed. Not to mention Saturday na ang expiry date so weekend, close ang offices. We also need to get PDOS which we can do in Cebu kaso lahat ng flights in Northern Mindanao (which we're from) is only from 8:30 am onwards. Eh yung PDOS magstart ng 10am but have to be there by 9am for registration.

The 2nd most stupid mistake is that the Country of Issue na nakalagay sa COPR ni hubby is wrong. Instead of Philippines, they put India. INDIA?! Paano naging India? Nowhere in our application states that country and hubby's passport is clearly from Philippines.

So I called CIC here in Canada and they said that because it is an error, he won't be able to enter the port of entry daw dito. So irereturn namin sa CEM ang Visa today along with COPR & a letter that states anong mga mali. It states naman sa instructions to Send back the visa & COPR if may mali and wait for further instructions.

Hopefully we will get an extended Visa validity date as well as get the Country of Issue corrected soon but not that rushed. Holy week pa naman.

Nakakastress talaga. So everybody make sure to double check everything if may mali sila.

for sure i-extend nila yang validity ng visa ni hubby mo sis...overz naman yung 2 days lang sis! ako nga 1 week lang binigay sa'min super stress na ako how much more kung 2 days lang???? yes yes dapat talaga i-check ng paulit-ulit ang visa at copr once matanggap na, it's their fault naman so everything will be okay na after they return his passport with visa

kaya sumulat ako sa embassy thru lbc regarding sa change ng cp number and informing them na active parin ang landline ko, wala lang nakasagot kasi wala ako sa house.

ang tanong ko lang ay whats the best thing to do? tumawag ako sa visa office para sabihin ang concern ko kasi nga june 4 ang validity dun sa unang email na idesregard nga ko daw. so ang ginawa lang ng kausap ko sa phone ay email ko daw enquiry ko then nilipat ako sa machine operated customer service na nagsabi ng email add kung san ako magemail. kaya nagemail na rin ako dun

kasama kasi sa attachment na may visa validity yung note sa dulo na if may changes sa address or contact number,please inform the office in writing.

thanks drewday...ganito kasi yan, march 27 nagupdate ako ng number ko sa case specific.. tas nung nareceive ko kahapon yung please disregard previous email dahil need nila ako makausap sa phone, nagreply ako na i already emailed to case specific my new number 0927xxxxxxxx.. then after ilang sandali na di mapakali, tumawag naman ako sa manila visa office about my concern tas pina email nga sa manil.immigration @ international.gc.ca.

tas sumulat ako in writing sa office nila sa rcbc na. yun kasi yung nakita kong address na nakalagay sa attachment na kapag may changes ay dapat inform ang office through writing
