thanks einah !

Visa Office is Abudhabi and i have not done my medical because as per the cic website, you have to wait for the instruction on how to get your medical done.

Oh i thought medical should be submitted together with the application.. that's what i did though

Unless the website has changed recently the medical is supposed to be included. It is the re-medical that requires instructions in the form of a pre-filled IMM1017 sent to you by CIC.

it's best to select messages that show consistent and continuous relationship. The officer will not read 100 pages of chats. Select a few messages a day/a week, and translate them. if possible take a screenshot to show how often you communicate and indicate that you are willing to send more if requested.
Translate everything - there is no point in sending proofs that are not in french or in english.

thank you Mr. Sweden. i'll do that. big help :)

Hi Sweden, do we really need to include our parents siblings and the rest of our family members in the form IMM5406 Additional Family Information: in this form you do list your spouse, all children, parents, and all siblings including half and step-siblings, even if they are Canadian citizens or PRs, and even though they will not be coming to Canada with you. This is according to one member here I had read today.

Please help us...

Thanks a lot and God bless...

Hi Guys,

My application was recieved on the 6th of may at Mississagua.

Still havent heard anything from them yet, even though their stage 1 processing time now says 28 days. I'm not able to find any info on e-cas with my husbands UCI number either.

Getting really worked up now...my husband just went back to canada but we had mentioned in our letter to them that he would leave to canada by the end of may. Dont know if that was a red flag for them or they have just misplaced our file :o

Should i have my husband call them up to check on our application...atleast then they'll know hes back..if that was a point of concern.

Suggestions pls!!! This seems a lot harder than i thought it would :(

yes, that's correct. In section A: principal applicant + the spouse (usually that's the sponsor) + applicant's parents (that's only 2 people: mother and father). Section B : children. Section C: brothers and sisters, even if they are not coming to Canada.
But it's only for the applicant. So you list the parents of the applicant, the children of the applicant, the siblings of the applicant only. The sponsor only appears in the first section as the spouse.

Hey,

sit back and relax! according to the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp they are working on applications received on the 30th of April. Although some May applicants have received their SA, and thus I understand why you might be worried, there is no reason to panic. Wait... you will probably get the sponsor approval this week. Wednesday the website will change and update, so if by wednesday they say they are working on applications received on the 6th of May, and you haven't heard anything, then your husband can call.
Ecas is only working once they have done the sponsor checks, and you have either the AOR or the sponsor approval. So for now, your file is probably not opened yet. Nothing to worry about. Wait a week, and you will probably hear from them.
your file is not misplaced most likely - just not opened yet.
Learn to be patient - stage 1 is the "easiest" part of the process, stage 2 is longer. So don't get worked up over just a few days, otherwise the process will be really hard on you.
Good luck,
Sweden

I agree with Sweden. You need to relax a bit. Everything will be fine :)

I found this thread though about e-mailing them (CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca)... so you can take a look here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/need-mississauga-email-to-send-rprf-receipt-t150384.0.html

Best of luck!

If you're sponsoring outland, then you should go through the CIC website. Download the application package onto your computer, and open each form one by one, and then fill them out. A few of them need to be validated ( there is a button "validate" on them) and it will create barcodes. When you print the form, it will print the barcodes at the same time as they are part of your application.
Fill each of them, print them out, and put them in order of the checklist. Get all the additional documents and proofs together, order them in the order of the checklist - no need to add extra things, like plastic sheets, dividers etc.
Here is the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp click on "get the application package" and you will have everything you need : the forms, the guideline and the checklist. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp here is the full list.
Click on each of the form, save them to your computer, and download the guideline that corresponds to your region to help with some specifics.
Good luck,
Sweden

Thanks Sweden & Thaliada,

I guess i will wait for sometime n then have the hubby call them.

My actual worry is for the SA as he was here with me after we filed for about 3 weeks and landed back on the 1st of june.

Also since hes there, he had to change houses so has a temp address now and phone number also changed becasue of some problem so thats gotten me more worked up, incase CIC try to contact him...they cant!!! :o

If we get thru this...its going to be a Miracle!!! :-[

Not a very pleasant news guys.. Received a letter from CIC dated 13th May in regards to my application sent on may the 1st received by them on the 3rd May which had a missing document of option C from my sponsor ( we gave notice of assessment instead as I believe that was accepted previously spoke to our consultant he said that they changed this now and do not accept notice of assessment any more but need original option c printout.)

I will need to send the whole application again along with option c.

I am all the more frustrated with this stupid mistake made. Pointless having a consultant hired (I dont belive him saying the above which he said about the option c print out, I believe it was always needed and notice of assessment isnt a valid doc.

Good luck to one and all and happy new life :)

OH GOD!!!

We sent in our NOA, instead of option c on our consultants recommendation as well!! :-X

Now what? :'(
