Do they (CBSA) do something with WP? Do we need to keep it for our records?

Yes, maybe later when you apply for the citizenship.

Hi Anni,

Congrats...

Could you please tell us how to take the U turn at Niagara Falls Queenston Lewiston Bridge office instead of crossing the border. I am planning to take the same route as yours since my family doesn't have US visa to tracel

Thanks for your help

After crossing the Canada Duty Free you will see a sign for Canada Only and USA only. Take left turn to Canada and tell officer that you are there for landing. He will give you a yellow slip and will route you to CBSA office. USA border is around 400 mt far from this turn.

All the best for your landing

Congrats Anni.. we are both permanent residents of Canada now.. :D :P
the Journey is over . They added my home address to the Ecas, with the lawyer address there too but under mailing address!!

Do u think they send the PR cards there or to my home as requested upon landing?!

Hi Maza, yes now we have peace of mind. :)
They will be sending PR cards to home address. As per the processing time showing on CIC site it will take 62 days. Till the time we can not leave country by Air.

I really can't stop checking ecas and my email even when I'm a sleep (I'm serious). ???
If there was just a certainty that I'm getting the PPR 100%, I would be feeling better at least. :(

Dont worry you will receive your PPR very soon. This is only matter of time

You are reading my mind! if i know now that it'll take a specific amount of time I'll be able to deal with it but no knowing if anything is gonna change in few seconds or months is driving me nuts!

And CONGRATULATIONS ANNI :)
Thanks msaeti. You will receive your PPR very soon.

Exactly ... not knowing what is happening is very painful.

Congrats Anni_in, hope to join the PR club soon :)
I can understand your situation. I was also in that situation once. Definitely you will join in PR club in this month only

If you are in Canada for a long time then only CoPR and passport. In some of the cases they asked for Work permit. If you are landing from another country then they may ask fund proof, marriage certificate(if you are married) , birth certificates for your kids. There is no harm carrying additional documents to save yourself from unnecessary headache

I had my WP stapled to my passport, they took it away and kept it.

No they will not. Y9ou can remove your WP from your passport. Any way you dont require WP anymore after landing and that WP will become invalid

Well in my case yes, they did :) I'm not saying this is a general rule, I am just sharing my experience here.
