Hi Maynians!

Got my Medical Request this morning on 22nd January.

;D

quick question? is eligibility passed once medicals have been issued? I guess I can order GCMS notes and find out.

Here's hoping to a quick 2 more months and PPR submission

Can someone please update the tracker for my name.

Gooluck to everyone.

@kokoman3, for your question, i believe yes, you can assume its approved but i would really think that when they ask to pay RPRF.

Rest can be answered by Seniors here.

I am May 21 applicant. Waiting to see what happens.

Also i have question, if there is any problem with docs, will they contact us for clarification.

Just a tip/advice from me, well if you want it lol :)

Do upfront medical !

If I had my time again I would do this for sure.

Some people like to use scare tactics and say

"Oh you can loose your money, it will be invalid after a year"

Hmm yes very scary, not !

A question to ask your self ' is it worth $180 ish'?

I think we would all agree the answer would be yes!

Even if your pretty broke I think the answer is still yes? Right ?

It will skim off an easy 2 to 4 weeks off your application, if you loose that money , who cares, because of long processing time or rejection it's still worth the money

Especially if you have to wait for PPR and your not visa exempt

Would you like to skim off 2 to 4 weeks , oh yes please

Just my advice seeing as I'm waiting for the med request to update

Hi Guys,

Need ur suggestion again. As I explained my case earlier, my employer is based in India and they transferred me to their office in Toronto. But i have been working at my client location and staying in Quebec. All of my employment related documents states address of Indian office or Toronto office of my employer, but my residential and mailing address with CIC is Quebec address.
So if i am staying in Quebec it may or may not cause some issues to my application.

I have my relatives in Toronto. And they will be able to say that I stay with them and sometimes visit my client in Montreal.
Could you please suggest if it will be a good idea to change my residential and mailing address to their address in Toronto?

Thank you.

if you have got the request to submit RCMP then you will get mr only after rcmp receipt. else it is not related.

I got, actually. But the thing is, I did the fingerprints very late (I was outside of Canada for 3 months). And I don't know when it will be sent to the office (I requested it to be sent directly). Is there any major problems if I send after the required time of 60 days? Because I believe it won't be there before that...I'm concerned.

Agreed. I wish the process of doing Upfront-Medical (UM) was crystal clear. The only reference I saw about UM was for family sponsorship. I see people frequently doing upfront medicals in Canada. But applicants who will be doing Medical outside Canada, may face the surprising look of their Doctor "You are requesting to do medicals exam without the Medical Exam Request??? Come back when you get your MR". And you cannot argue or show them any proof of Upfront Medical in CEC, cause it's not there.
