i just got my passport request 22-2-2014

Guys i have an exam on the 6th of March. Would i be able to get my passport back if it is sent this Monday?

I need it as an ID for the exam!! Te exam centre ask for two ID one will be the driver license and the other my passport..

Is it safer to wait??

It was sent friday 21-2-2014 at 11:18 pm to my lawyer e mail and forwarded to me today

Lawyers are useless, just waste of te and money

My e medical was uploaded by doctor on Saturday 15-2-2014 at noon

You may or may not get it.

I sent mine on 19th Feb around 6 pm. Since it was after 5 pm and Canadapost send all the post next day if received after 5 pm, so it was send by them on 20th Feb and got delivered to CIC at ottawa on 21st Feb (Friday). If they take one or two days so maximum they should post our passports back by 25th or 26th and I should receive them by Friday. Hopefully over weekend I should e able to land.

I have a query for the guys who already completed landing.

I want to go to Buffalo for shopping.
1. Should I go there first and stay more than 24 hours to qualify for duty free shopping and then landing?

or

2. I should cross border come back immediately for landing and after landing go back to USA and stay there for more than 24 hours

In second case can USA official ask question why am I entering in USA second time in couple of hours

Yet no update on ecas not even medical received.(shows in process, we started process ur application on 31st Jan)
Kinda worried.

Happened to me as such as well.
I got my ppr even before my status was changed to DM

Im in the same boat as you. I did my Medical on the 6th, paid my RPRF 18th Feb but still I have not heard anything and my ecas does not even say if they have my medical. I was going to ring the doctors and see if they have passed on my results!! It still just says in Process 3rd Feb
I can't help but think the worst as I have not had an easy ride on this whole PR

Call the Doctor up and check if they uploaded your results. Other than that, I guess you just have to hang in there and hope for some good news soon

Same here! although my status says Medical received (I did my medical on Feb 5th) but haven't heard anything else since ???

Dont worry. I got PPR before Ecas updated my status to medical received. Wish u guys luck

That's normal, might change in a couple days...congrats on your PPR!!!
