Its not recommended and its unsafe to do x-ray when pregnant. So inform CIC asap and wait on their reply/next steps.

That is true, we did our medicals in Canada and they specifically told us that we do not do x-ray for pregnant women in that center. I have read that it takes approx 10 radiations to affect an unborn child, but then its our child. We should not be responsible for the smallest possibility for something to happen.

Yes. I did my Medical Exam with dr Li. He is open from Mon- Sat. It is first come first serve basis. No Appointment required. Medical exam only from 9am to 11am. So u need to be there around 8:45 if u dont want to wait long. Chest Xray just next door so u dont need to go far for it. My exam was done within one hour including waiting time. I was number 4. He did the exam very fast. But not sure about uploading time. My was done on Jan 27. Ecas still not updated my status yet. It's emedical so dont need to take photos before hands. I paid $170 for the exam+ $30 for a cope of my result+ $50 for xray. Total $250 cash only. Hope that help

I send my application to CIO from Australia and selected Sydney, Australia as my visa office.

I send an email yesterday to CIC requesting visa stamping and issuing of COPR at Canadian High Commission in Australia.

Just wondering, how long they will take to reply?

Got my MR on January 28th and got it done on January 29th.

Ecas shows only process started on January 31st. No updates.

anyone had additional document request from CIC here? Not sure what to expect now. Hopefully not much delay

I did get additional doc request since i added my spouse . I have already got MR for myself which I have not done yet. I have also got RPRF and biodata which I have sent for both of us . I will send the additional docs. by this week .

You should be getting it anytime. Unfortunately, you don't have any choice other than wait.

I'm really worried... There are people who got their meds received after mine and they already got the passport request. Is it because I had additional documents (PCC)? I've submitted that as well and CIC acknowledged that on the 17th of Feb.

I don't think there is a reason to be worried. It must be because your security/background check is not done yet. And this is different case by case. So just be patient. You will get your PPR soon.

i am in the same bus, waiting for PPR, doctor has advised they forwarded the medicals on 11th and status is shown as in process,

i am checking the mail box and ecas staus 12 times in a day. Looks like patience is a virtue while dealing with CIC
