Checked ECAS today morning.

Medical results have been received. The status is still In Process. Any idea how much time it will take to get passport request?

It depends I guess. I got my PPR 18 days after my mEdical was done

my medicals were done on Feb 5 so yeah we have similar time lines.
i got the biodata and RPRF on 31st Jan.

kokoman2013 - WELL DONE!! Today has been a good day for us. Not long to go im hoping to get my PR by end of Febuary or 1st week in March

Hi kokoman and britgirl, congrats to both of you... We just got RPRF request and biodata, too... We were not expecting it since CIC requested for PCC when we received our MR which will take about 2 months to get done.. It's just weird that the email was received today (holiday) 4:45pm, Family Day, and the email sender with a specific name: Dumali.Nomer@cic.gc.ca..... -- maybe the one in charge of sending RPRF and oh well, sent by batch..

Congrats to those who have received MR, RPRF, and PPR.. Ours is a long way to go 'coz of PCC but we are very happy that everything is in place. Happy landing soon, guys!!! Don't forget to share your wonderful landing experience.

Same Visa officer for me.

Was kinda skeptical because it came from a person.

But nothing to be concerned about as the payment is made to their official websites.

Lets dif all stay in touch as this guy is our visa officer as we know it!

Hi Congrats, Will you be submitting passports to VFS? Can you share where did they asked you to submit your passport?

Passports should be submitted through VFS [www.vfs-canada.co.in] using one of the 10 Visa Application centres located across India and in Nepal. Provided the application and travel documents are in order, passports submitted through VFS will be returned within 20 working days.

I am worried about below statement which is part of the email I received. This might be a generic format but is there anything to worry after decision has been made ?

"Please note that a request for your passport(s) at this time is not a guarantee of visa issuance. Passports are requested so that we can hold them on your file and issue your visas as soon as possible after all requirements have been met. If additional information is required, you will be contacted"

Hi, I don't see its part of regular Email for passport request. Under which section do you see this. I have seen one of my colleagues passport request email, its not there.
