Hello ALL, I am in saskatchewan, had 1 year of experience from different employers, 6 months of employment which comes under NOC 0 and presently working under NOC A from past 8 months, will i be eligible to apply under CEC class ? If any one know Please let me know, or i have to apply under PNP which is time consuming.

All the work experience is full time after education, still working with the same company, I have to wait for 4 more months or will i be eligible ????? I emailed CIC last week no reply from them.

definitely, you are eligible... it doesnt need to be the same job for one year.. they consider any job from Skill 0, A or B. u just need to work a total of 1 year (which u already have) for atleast 30 hrs/week (paid)..

get up to date letters from both employers and u are good to go...

I finally sent off my application today... Good luck to everyone! :)

My application reached Sydney, NS office on May 9th. I have given my credit card details for the processing fees. When should I see a charge on my credit card and by when should I expect the AOR email?
Does using a credit card delay the application process?

Thanks in advance

right now, people are getting AOR in around 40 days. Credit cards are charged around 3-6 days before getting AOR... check the march and april spreadsheets for more detailed info...

No, it doesn't make a difference

thank you for your reply.

I was reading the eligibility conditions again for CEC applications on the CIC website.

One of the condition says you should have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply.

When I was reading this today, I got a little confused. I came to canada in dec 2011 and started job under NOC 2171 from March 2012 and since then I am working in the same category. Which means 12 months full time skilled work experience in Canada. But I am confused with the clause of three years before you apply. Does it mean I should spend 3 years in canada before I apply.

When I sent my application my understanding was you should have worked for 1 year in canada before you apply. Please advise.

=AUJ2013

You only need to have worked 12 months in Canada and this should have occurred within the previous 3 years.. So if someone worked in Canada for a year in2007 .. He won't be eligible as this is not within the last three years

All luck

I'm planning to send the package tomorrow, do you suggest regular or express mail?

Hope to join the group soon!
