Im still waiting and as much as I try to stay positive doubt is creeping in. Ive had zero luck in extending my work visa with the BOWP and so now i am on a visitors visa! I am worried because i only have 1 year work experience spot on… my letter from employee was dated 1 month before so i.e. when they wrote the letter i had only been with them 11 moths but of course once I had finished getting all information needed for my CEC I posted off mt application 1 week after my year of work. I read a post that they go by the date the letter of employee wrote is this correct? As i rely hope this is not the case as all I was doing was getting my paperwork in order before I had to send it off…. or am I just worrying over nothing?

Unfortunately, the letter has to be dated AFTER you gained one year full time experience, as this is the date the vo would use the assess your experience.
Why don't you ask an updated letter without anything changed but the date and send to cic? noted that this might not work, but it is better than not doing anything but awaiting and worrying.

GHD1213 - Thank you for your reply… but oh no dame what bad news ok Im going to see if I can get a new letter but it was such hard work to get the 1st letter because they told me it is not company policy to write one!! I really hope I get a new one and that I'm not too late..
Do you know where I post it too once I get the letter?

Hey not to worry, once you get the letter with a new date and email a copy to OttPilot-Immigration @ cic.gc.ca, you should be just fine. As long as your application was received before November 9th 2013, the old rules will still apply to you. Try and get the updated letter asap.
In your email to CIC make sure to include correct names, date of birth, client ID, application # and application type(CEC).

I don't know if we can believe those accounts to be honest? There are people out there how say things to get people like yourself worried.

I got my MR a week ago, an April 5th guy got his yesterday.

It quite simply isn't your time yet, if they do as they did last month they may do some NOC skill A applicants from May,

If they do 'iF'

It will be the end of the month
