Hi everyone,

I need some help with my application. I submitted my application in May 2013 and it is currently still in process now. I knew that it is getting stuck on my husband's New Zealand police check. I sent in his consent form and passport copy to CIC. Is there anything I can do on my side so as to get things go faster? If I request a copy of criminal record from the Ministry of Justice in NZ be useful at all?

Please advise and thank you for your help!!!!

sadly.. there is nothing you can do.. but to ensure that New Zealand police did send the PCC back to CIC and ensured that they got it..

Has anyone heard of a COPR email going lost? According to our CGMS request from January 18, 2014, our COPR was placed in the print queue on 2014/01/17, but we have not heard from CIC regarding the COPR or even that a decision was made!

The CPR is not an email, you will be mailed the original copy along with your passport ( if you are from a non-visa exempt country ), and if you are from a visa exempt country, they will mail the CPR directly.
If you haven't received the CPR and it has been printed according to the GCMS notes, I would contact the CIC hotline.

Any other May applicants still have no decision made? My AOR was in July 2013, so they are still within the 13 month timeline, but I'm anxious.

Ordeal with CIC is never over, two and half months after landing received the PR card but with an incorrect gender. Now CIC asked me to send 2 separate applications, one to Ottawa to correct the record of landing in their system(paper copy I received has correct gender) and second to Sydney with current PR card to reissue new card. I've marked the applications as 'Urgent' stating it's holding essential services renewal(SIN, Health) and potential employment opportunity, does anyone else had same issue and how long did it take to get the replacement card?

is anyone here who applied back in May 2013 still not got the visa?

I added my spouse and waiting for reply.
