Congratulations to those who finally got their visa and whose on PPR status.

Does anyone here know if it's ok that we sent a scanned copy 2 of the Medical Report?

Unfortunately, my husband did not receive a copy 2 after the medical exam. What was given to him were his medical exam receipt and a medical exam instruction from CEM which was not sent to him in the first place. I assume that belongs to somebody else. I called the doctor's secretary about it but sarcastically she just laughed and accused my husband of having misplaced or lost his copy 2 and he might have mistakenly took that medical instruction from somebody else. She also told me that the doctor was the one who handed him the papers but my husband told me it was her. Such a big liar. By the way she spoke to me she seemed so guilty. By the way, we're July applicant and it worries me because almost half of the june applicants have their passport requested already.

Ummm, aren't the "doctors" supposed to send the medicals in directly? That's my understanding and I believe how ours were done.

yup, the Doctor is the one that'll send the medical report directly to CEM.. But I think she's talkin' about the Proof of Medical Examination which is given to you when you undergo the medical exam....

Hi.. Kami din ng two kids ko til oct. 2011 pa kmi til now wala pa din ung visa, . Expired n nga ung meds,..pero d pa reply embassy kung mag re take... Bkit kaya til now wala pa? I informed the agency nung may hawak sa papers namin,. Sabi nya depende daw sa humahawk ng papers sa embassy kung gaano sya ka slow or ka bilis.. Hintay hintay lang daw... Ano kya nangyari sa papers natin?

Hindi po siguro...baka nagkataon lang po. :
Pero like tintin0126 mentioned, hindi po kami dumaan sa "In-Process" na status sa eCAS...
Diretso po sa "Decision Made" but pag i-click mo po ung Decision Made na button, makikita mo kung kelan nila inumpisahan ung pag process ng application...

Ung akin po, ung nkalagay na "Date Started Processing" sa eCAS is...January 23, 2013...and un din po ung issuance date na nakatatak sa Visa ko...

Pero hindi po laging ganun. :-X

What if wala pang naka indicate na date started processing, it means di pa po na pa process? sa decision made kc we sent you on jan. 31, 2012 regarding the decision on your application,. ung email na na note ok naman daw approve and na meet daw ng husband ko ung pas sponsor sa amin ng mga kids ko,.pero bakit til now wala pang additinal info sila na post. ?at wala pa rin ung visa namin...last march 2012 pa ung passport namin na na i sbmit,...

I believe you're referring to the "Decision Made" under SPONSORSHIP po.
Ang i-check niyo po is ung status under PERMANENT RESIDENCE.
Kung tama ang pagkaintindi ko sa post nyo, na-approved po ang sponsor nyo ng January 31, 2012.
Then nirequest nila passport niyo noong March 2012 nga.
So, ung question niyo bakit wala parin additional info., baka po mas matagal lang ma-process sa inyo coz family po kayo or dahil madami po kayo, unlike sa iba po na, ung spouse lang po ang applicant. :

Effective January 28, 2013, the Visa and Immigration Section at the Canadian Embassy in Seoul is closed. All permanent resident applications previously submitted to the visa office in Seoul will now be processed in Manila.

If more staff are not hired in Manila this can be expected to further slow processing.
