I did the landing at Peace Bridge, Fort Erie. Made a U-turn, did not go to the US side. I gave our passports and told the officer that we are here for landing. He asked me if we went to the USA...I anwsered NO. We parked our car and went into their office. Everything was quick and easy...They only asked when did we come to Canada, phone number and ID...After that we signed the CPR, they told our rights and thats it...No questions no problems....
You guys do not have to worry when you are there..I know it is easy to say but really they were nice and did not give us any hard time....
I would like to thank for all of you for your support, this forum helped me a lot!!!!!I wish good luck to everyone who is still waiting and for those who already got PR...Great forum, great people!!!Thanks!!!

Can you please let me know how much bank balance we need to show when we are ready for landing? Is there any mandatory funds required to be available when applied under CEC class for PR? Have they checked the bank statement or any letter to prove your financial status?

Most of May applicants are past the MR phase by now.
I am still waiting for my MR, but it humbles my waiting troubles to see people still waiting for the AOR.

then I can see that they started processing my application on Jan 11th, 2012.

the DMP confirmed my medical results were sent on March 1st, and today I received my RPRF email !
From what I understand, it means my application is "approved" on the basis of my documents and that I'll get PR as soon as they get criminal checks, security checks and medicals back.
That's what the email says :
Dear xxx :
This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.
