Hi Jean12F,

We did it in Canada, we went to an agency, they took the fingerprints and they forwarded everything to RCMP electronically. After 2-3 days we have received the clearance by mail..

Congratulations, guys who received MR.

Here is the updated timeline.

my PG work permit will expire in Feb 23rd, I have applied for Open work permit 3 weeks ago, my current employer is requesting for my new work permit, pls what can I do.

Show your employer the payment receipt or other proof you got that you applyed for wp renewal. You are entitled to work for 90 more days from the expiry date of your current wp or until a decision is made. You can read more about it on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=189&t=17

Ioanag, Thank you for that info.

I had to update the google table, someone marked me as MR for November 1st, but I only had a documents (PCC) request on November 1st.
No medicals yet...
still waiting patiently, but the ECAS status is 'In process' sine Jan 11, 2013.

can i sumbit TOEFL results instead of ILETS??

No. You need to send the IELTS general result.

I did my medicals on 28th Jan. Does any one know how much time it takes to get medicals for your spouse?
I didn't receive it along with my MR request.
Any estimation?

In my case,
I didn't received medical report forms for my spouse and kids, ether.
So, I asked this matter to the medical practitioner.
She said I would better ask CIC office first, and if they didn't answer, just come and fill out the forms because they already have the forms.

I sent an email to the CIC office, but they didn't answer me.
So, I just went to see the medical practitioner without the forms for my family members.
And they provided the forms for us.
It was fine to take the medical examination.

Thank you Kazmoj for sharing your experience.

Does anyone had the same experience? Should I wait for my spouse medicals or just go ahead an do it?
What is recommended?

Thanks!!

Hi everyone !

I've just received medical requests for me and my wife ! This is such a relief. It took me a little over five months to get my AOR, but then MR took a little under three months, so not too bad.

What are the chances of rejection at this stage ? I believe they are pretty slim since application completeness has already been checked, and background checks should have already been completed as well. Do you guys think eligibility has already been assessed at this point or it will come next ? I guess I'll know more details soon as I should be a few days away from receiving the GCMS notes I applied for almost a month ago.

I will update the tracking spreadsheet with my information.

Looks like CIC has been issuing a lot of MRs in the past few days, so good luck to everyone.

Congratulations frenchie! I applied the same day as you and got AOR the same day as well. Our AOR came later than anyone in May. I haven't received MR yet. Did your ecas change to in process?
