i have received passpot request. and I have few questions..Please help.

1. If I have a child who is a Canadian cizitizen do I have to include him on a Biodata info??(name, hight, eye colour)

2. How to cross the border if I am a citizen of a country which requires a visa to the USA? I do no want to stay in the USA only need cross the border..Anyone who was in the same situation or know the answer?? Will I need a visitor visa? If yes how can apply at the USA consulate if Ido not have a written proof of my status in Canada..ANd I wont have my passport as I have to submit it to Ottawa.

3. I am a citizen of a country which has a visa waiver agreement with the USA, however the passport is not the one where my visa will b stamped(I have applied and came to Canada with a differn pssport )..Is it possible to enter USA with that passport and then return with the other passport? I do not want any trouble though...

4. Usually how long is the visa valid?

5. I am on implied status. Applied for a bridging open wp in Decembr 2012 and for a visitor visa in November 2012.The same for my spouse. We do not have any proof of status in our hand as of now. Both of our applications are in process..Neither of us is woking, as I am on maternity leave and my husband quit his job last year, Dec 2011. Could this have a negative impact on our visa? How does the whole landing process look like?


Please help!! I would like to make everything right..The last stage hopefully....THANKS!!!

Hii i have got my medical on Jan 18,2010.done with my medical on Jan 22,2013.How much time they will take to send me PPR after that.

Secondly,my spouse and kids are in india, do they have to send passpoer to Canada or they can submit at Delhi? Plz help me out.

You got your MR on 18/01/2010 and you did it on 22/01/2013 ? 3 years later?

You just told us. You only have so long to submit the Medicals, I think it's usually 60 days. Are you sure CIC haven't used your application?

Hahaha... I'm laughing my head off as I'm reading what you guys are writing here.. This is so hilarious. ;D

How in the world can anyone take 3 years to do their medicals?? Are we understanding it correctly? You might be better off reapplying. Who knows whether CIC still have records of your application after 3 years???

Congrats Islington.... Hey guys got our MR and RCMP request on 29th Jan ;D ... just wanted to know if any one has done their finger printing... In the finger print chart .. what do we have to put for Reason of Fingerprint. And in the address Present /Permanent : is this where the RCMP results will be mailed or will it go directly to CPP-O office. Does anyone have an idea on this one...Thanks

For the reason section we put: Immigration- Permanent Residency

The RCMP result was mailed back to us and we had to forward it to CPP-O.
