Anybody got their AOR yet?

April guys just started, I think we still have to wait more !!

I am not aware of any birth certificate showing citizenship! Therefore, you should expect to see place, time of birth and correctly written name of parents and not citizenship.

Hi Guys,

I need some help here as I'm confused regarding my childs Citizenship....I have received a Birth Certificate for my newborn and it does not state his citizenhip status...I thought that if the child was born in Canada he/she will be a Candian Citizen automatically..However, I have read on a CIC website today that if someone was born in Canada after February 14, 1977 and neither of their parents were at least permanent residents, is not a Canadian Citizen...So my child is not a Canadian Citizen? It does make a big difference.....I mean I have to apply for permanent resdency for him as well in my application? I thought I will only have to inform Immigration of his birth?

I have noticed the processing time of CEC applications has been increased from 10 to 15 months in the CIC website!!! damn

LOL it takes about 3 months, so I am hoping to get something around august 15.
