MAY 2012 Applications

Hi Ihabkal,

No email/AOR at all...i think its too early for AOR....i sent my application on May 10th and credit card was charged on May 17th, that's about it.

I think it takes about 3 months to get AOR. I will keep you (and this thread) posted on my application updates

Nothing yet but the bad news is Buffalo visa office is closed now and I think Ottawa office is handling the applications.

I think Ottawa is great, but now that Buffalo is closed Ottawa will have tens of thousands more to process whcih will slow everything,
Am I right?

Well,its all over the news. I just got some news today from a local office who helps immigrants,our applications are being handled by the new division in Ottawa instead of Bufallo. Lets hope they are going to be faster ...

Sent application on 5th May 2012, received by Sydney office on 15th May 2012, Visa Office - New Delhi.
I sent fees through Money Order, probably i wil check with bank if they have encashed the money order. Waiting for AOR.

No news yet,its been exactly a month since my application was recieved in Sydeny ...hopfully we get some good news by the end of June

AOR usually arrives more or less than 3 months..

the current trend is around 3 months, could be 4
For unknown reasons very few people have been getting it in 1 month
