Why don't you contact with CIC office?
According to the Trackitt records, it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks.
I suggest you to ask them the current status of your application.

I did send them an email but got nothing back!

You can email CIC and ask. Include your name, client ID and application no. in the email title.

RPRF is $490 per adult applicant.

I can only speak for myself, but to answer your question, yes.
I am a may applicant and am still waiting for MR.
My ecas status changed to "In process" since Jan 11th, and nothing yet....
just patiently waiting.

I did email them a couple of times, but got no reply so far.
I'll wait till the end of March, and then I will inquire about the status of my application.
Thank you for the suggestion. I don't believe it was sent by mail though, since all the communication up to now
was done by email, and I do check the 'spam' folder. I think I was unlucky to go into some kind of background check, so it's taking time.
There are others in the same situation as me from other month, people are waiting for month, before there is an update after the status changes to 'In process', but it's rare.

Same here.... They received my app on 6th June.... AOR 9th NOV
Ecas says they started processing app on 25th FEB
Got RPRF and biodata request on 11 March...
But no MR

Sorry to say but its a bit early for you to hope for the MR.
CIC just started your file 4 weeks ago...Maybe another 2 weeks at least for your case?

Hi s_w_u, why do you think so? From what I've seen on this forum, MR often came the same time or even before
the ECAS status would change to 'in process', was there a trend recently that proves otherwise?
I know a few would have to wait a month or two or even more for the next step after the 'in process' status update on
ECAS, but mostly it's almost immediate. Perhaps you know some additional details?

Sorry to say but its a bit early for you to hope for the MR.
CIC just started your file 4 weeks ago...Maybe another 2 weeks at least for your case?
