Gaurav when was your Application received on ecas mine was received on may 17 2012 it is in process since june 7 2013 ( RPRF Paid on the same day)

I had some communication with cic Ottawa. i had to send in my new work permit to update my file this is the reply i have got.

" I would like to advise you that we received your new work permit. No additional documents required at this time, your application is in Queue
awaiting for finalizing. "

if we might be lucky we might get within 2 weeks

mine is in inprocess since july 29..i got my gcms last week n it said that my file is complete..waiting for an officer review.....so anytime..from now onwards..

Thanks edmontonfort for starting this thread. I guess now its the May 2012 applicants who are in wait mode. Hope we see some updates for may coming soon.

my friend got his passport request 28/8/2013 around 10:00 Pm

his file went in process on April 27 2013

may be we are the next in September. my file is in process since June/7/2013.

I am pretty positive this month. I believe that officers will shake their **** off the files of may 2012 applicants. However journey to the PR application process has been pretty disappointing. Every day is like starting and ending with expectations and frustrations, cursing the diplomats for not working on the files chronologically. I will make my kid prime minister of Canada and shake these idiots down if they continue doing the *censored word*ty jobs. I don't care if they wanna take 2 years to process the files, at least work on them on first come first serve basis.

Easy bro...It may be because of the restructuring and closing of the offices. Its really frustrating but hold on its round the corner. It will come..

Have you contacted you MP or CIC lately? I have checked a few websites and found that none of the May 2012 applicants have got PPR. CIC is still in processing March and April applications.

Based on the reads from other threads we will not see it until beginning of October. Currently its April 19th 2012 who received PPR yesterday. Sit back and relax.

still people who applied after us are already getting Passport request. just depressing .when i sent them an email to update my file regarding my new work permit. Ottawa told me " No additional documents required at this moment your file is in Que to be finalized

Everyone knows it is frustrating, but the thing is there is nothing we can do about it. So just wait and watch. And for 99% people the results will be positive. Its just the delay in processing time that is killing us.
