Hi Everyone,

I've updated the table and made an online spreadsheet. I figure it will be a bit easier to manage this way.
i've including all new applicants and applicants that I have found on other forums.
The ones in yellow are the ones from other forums, with there name in hyperlink if you want to see their status.
Good luck in the waiting game.

Any updates just let me know.

Way hey, June time! and it's Wednesday so CIC will be updating their processing times today.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

Last week they went from April 14 to 26 (completing 13 days worth of apps in a week) so I'm hoping that today we will have another significant boost of approved sponsors. It'll be our turn very very soon! :-*

Great job on the spreadsheet malirca, much better and easier than updating a forum post table :D

Hi everybody!!!
In septmber i will get married whit my canadian fiancee and I want to start the application for the PR. I have to wait untill i'll be married or there is somenthing that i can do now?

Thanks for your answers!!!

So long as you have been common law (lived together for 12 months) or conjugal partners for 12 months and can prove this you should be able to start the process. I don't think there are any special considerations given if you are engaged, and of course you need to meet the other criteria to sponsor / apply for PPR!

I can star in September when i'll have the married certificate. Right now what kind of proof of our relationship i can take?

Hey everyone this could be our week!!!!!!!!!!!
When I click on the link to the spreadsheet is doesnt go through is there another way to view it?

You don't need to actually start working on it in September when you'll have the certificate and be married, but I would wait to send it in then (thus, you won't have to notify them of this change later on and frankly, I'm sure you have enough on your plate with planning a wedding and this process does take some time anyway so why rush through it?). I think the most difficult thing is just to get a grasp of the three parts to the application, meaning what all the forms are and how to fill them out. Find out as much about the process and forms as you can, which is to say: research, research, research. Of course, gather all evidence of your relationship that you can think of. Organization is key to this whole process, I find. Request your police records about a month and a half before you plan to have the precious package dropped off at the post office, get several "immigration size" photos of yourself taken while you wait, and schedule the medical as soon as you get the police clearance and as near as possible the send-off date.

only 6 people in the whole wide world applying through london in may heh heh

Disappointing update in the processing times: working on applications received 29 Apr, processing time back up to 41 days. So they haven't made much progress in the last week.
:(

Just checked the CIC website...it looks like they did not make much progress this week. The process time pushed up to 41 days and applications currently being processed are from Apr 29. This is a bit of reversal from the progress they made from last week

Kind of disappointed after checking the website...i thought they would be processing apps received on the first week of May, at the least.

:(

I wonder what happened. Hmmm... ???

Maybe, they made a mistake? *crosses fingers*

That is so disappointing! I was hoping they would finally be working on applications received for 1st week of May.

Few days closer yes and there's always next week :(

well to give some of us hope. ive been looking at the april thread to see how us maybies fair next to them. and dyj2010 whos applicationwas received onapril 29 received on monday the 30th the sponsor approval. so hopefully they are just posting the 29 to be conservative on their dates.
