What is the date of ur letter, though? Just wondering if the approval OR just the letter came late?

I didn't get a letter, I got an email dated 13th June.

When I phoned the Call Centre yesterday, they said they were still working on May 5-6 apps despite the website's processing times saying that last week! Seems to be alot of conflicting info around

I was so excited when I checked my email and saw front and center the email from CIC.
So we are moving along, it will be all your turn soon.

However I'm trying not to get my hopes up just in case it's an email requesting more information or telling me that I forgot to sign a form or something!

I am with you on that sentiment chrischris.... I am just bottling it all up until I actually have confirmation that everything was signed properly and all papers present and accounted for.

I am not sure why I feel so much anxiety about this part of the process because wierdly enough I have no real concern about the next step which is apparently the harder one...LOL

Yep, I agree Dair - this first stage of sponsor approval seems more of a big deal than the actual immigration application. I think it's waiting for that first contact - confirmation that you're actually in the system and that your application didn't fall behind a radiator in the mailroom or something like that!

Exactly!! You hit the nail on the head chris... I could not explain it but thats exactly how I feel!! To know it is not sitting under someones desk, under a box, beside the dust bunnies........ with the mice chewing on the corners of my wedding photos...

Oh my, I really thought I am just the paranoid one here ....... Like getting the first approval is the beginning of everything. And most of all it is the confirmation that your application is really THERE hhahahahhahhaha

I have slept 7 hours in the last 3 days because I internalize everything and my husband has no idea what to do with me at the moment because I can barely talk.

I know I should just relax....but this is not like putting your name in a lottery and hoping for the best....this is the rest of our lives!! This is a decision we made as a couple who love each other very much and now must put it all in the hands of some stranger.

Please anyone know the address I can send coffee and donuts to for these guys next week when they should be on mine??!! :
