@ 3883, looks like u still have some lifeline. As the reason for NER is not showing substantial evidence of duties performed, u can reapply with 'stronger' proof that indeed u had performed the duties under 4152. If you are up to applying under this NOC you could discuss with the person giving you the reference about specific duties required, it only means the words must be chosen carefully;not copy and paste of the duties listed. If you list about 7 to 10 duties, that is substantial enough. This goes for both 4152 and 1122. My only worry is that the latter is the fastest filling NOC and cap cld be reached within a couple of weeks.
Secondly regarding IELTS, application will be incomplete without it. As British Council only sends extra copies to instituitions, can u arrange with your workplace, school or wherever to receive it on ur behalf and then for it afterwards? These are my thoughts on this....Mandie

I am sure he is prepared to make that sacrifice...Mandie

Hi all
There is no need for the duplicate IELTS trf. 3883 has to attach the NER mail and a letter explaining that the original IELTS is with cic. 3883 have you got a photocopy of your IELTS trf ??

Thing is one does not know if his application has been despatched to be returned. If it is in transit, then he is just gonna waste his time doing the above. But if he can get a copy, the. It saves all he the time and take away any uneasiness. Maybe he can find out if his application has been despatched yet.... Mandie

@Olive Congrats....:)

@3883 , I guess you can follow the advice and send copy of IELTS alongwith NER letter. Also IELTS forward to Pre Designated list of Institutions only.....This IELTS duplicate thing seems such a B***ch.....
Really feel they are exploiting the candidates.

IMO, it is very unlikely that CIC would DEVOTE time to find the IELTS results from a pile of Not Eligible applications. I really do not know what they do with all those IELTS results which can easily be returned to the candidate.

If the applicant would go ahead with a COPY of IELTS result he might be setting himself up for another failure.....more so because we really do not have any statistics which proves success with a COPY of IELTS result.

My applications also CIO posted back on 28 june2010 because cap of 1000 reached but still i dint recieve it back.I applied for ielts copy and british council send it to me after charging 1750 rupees indian within 5 days.Now i am thinking to resend new application .

@ Mitali, I don't understand why you think CIO will not accept another copy of IELTS from the British Council knowing very well they have the original? Certainly don't expect ppl to do it again when they vey well passed the first time! With an authentic duplicate from BC, along with NER letter which clearly indicates his points for language proficiency, I believe he is good to go...Mandie
?

CIO will accept copy of ielts provided i will put copy of refusal letter from cio and coverletter mentioning that my original ielts detained by cic.Unfortunately original ielts is not with cic now but its in air with postal dept
